The New & Improved Mustang Daily

Cal Poly’s “Learn By Doing” philosophy appears to be alive and well, as evidenced by today’s launch of the beautifully redesigned Mustang Daily website, online home to the university’s student-run newspaper.

Not only is the site vastly more appealing to look at, it has many new features that should increase the site’s readership and because it was built with Wordpress (our favorite Content Management System and the engine that runs our site, as well), it offers more flexibility for the journalists behind Mustang Daily to add more new features as time goes on.

I’ve really got to hand it to everyone involved, including Lauren Rabaino, one of the hardest working editors the Daily’s ever had.  As a Cal Poly and Mustang Daily alum myself, I’d like to thank the entire staff for creating such a visually stimulating piece of online journalism.  Be sure to give Lauren your kudos and support one of the country’s great student newspapers.
