If you haven’t heard of the Million Dollar Wiki yet, you should. It’s been discussed on some of the top blogs, and the Internet’s most successful moneymakers have gotten involved. I bought two pages a few weeks back, but haven’t found the time to do anything with one of them, despite its potential to make some pretty good side money. Since I’m also trying to spread the word about Prevail and our philosophy of Win/Win Marketing, I started thinking about how to accomplish both at once.

So what I’ve decided to do is lease out the page each month to one reader of this blog as a case study for others on how to monetize a website and also as a way to give something back to our readers. Whoever wins will basically have free reign over what to do with the page for one full month and at the end of the month, we’ll split the profits 50/50 with our end of the money going to a local charity which I will publish when the time comes. After 12 months, the dozen winners will have a chance to win some free services from us. Whoever earns the most will win 3 Prevail Points ($500 prize) and 1 Prevail Point ($200 prizes) will be awarded to the second and third place finishers.

The word we will be working with is “lawyers“, a word that ranks extremely high in PPC ads and has numerous opportunities for referral payouts.

I’m quite confident smart marketers can make some really good cash with this site, and for $100 over the lifespan of the site, it’s an affordable way to see.
