Prevail PR is a locally owned and operated Marketing and Web Design company in San Luis Obispo, CA run by Aaron Emerson.  Who am I? 

Here are 10 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Me:

1. I have three beautiful daughters who are currently 8, 10 and 12 years old.

2. I received my B.S. in Journalism and Public Relations from Cal Poly SLO in December of 2000.  Cal Poly is well known for the motto “Learn By Doing”, a philosophy that I live by every day.

3. I have lived in Utah, Las Vegas, Orange County and San Luis Obispo.  It’s no secret that I consider San Luis Obispo to  be one of the great places to live on earth.

4. Between kindergarten and 12th grade of high school, I missed exactly ZERO days of school.  You could say I like to learn just a little bit.

5. I have my own website at AaronEmerson.com, a site I have little time to spend on, but will be my main professional AND personal site in the future.  I am a big believer in and advocate for personal branding, an industry I plan to delve into in the next couple of years.

6. I am an ISTJ, an Inspector Guardian in the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator.  I am intrigued by personality types and an amateur psychologist.

7. I am also a Taurus for those who believe the stars have anything to do with life.  I’m actually a Double Taurus, making me overly pragmatic and a rabid planner.

8. I LOVE my job.  While there are many, many things I’d like to do in life, at the current time, I’m doing exactly what I want: helping small business owners and entrepreneurs make their dreams come true and stay true.  In the future, my personal branding company will probably be called “Emotainment”.

9. I am an information junky.  I have no less than 200 blogs in my newsreader, subscribe to 6-7 industry magazines, attend seminars and workshops religiously, collect just about every publication in town on a weekly basis, listen to professional speakers in my free time and read books on marketing and personal development like they were the Sunday comics.  If I’m not working, I’m reading. 

10. I love to talk to people about their true hopes and dreams and spending quality time talking with people from all backgrounds about ways they can make it happen.  I’ve spent years learning how to leverage the Internet and can show just about anyone how to jumpstart their dreams on a shoestring budget.  If you ever want to chat, here are the places and ways you can contact me:
